Introduction to Information Systems

This course highlights the importance of informatics in the enterprise world. Thus, it is of utmost important to dive into the definition of the enterprise and how information is handled and exchanged with this paradigm.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

• Solve the problems posed by companies through his good understanding of the IS,
• Analyze, decompose, model and execute a business project as an IS problem,
• Use MERISE as an analysis and design methodology for an IS project,
• Investigate other systems analysis and design methodologies independently.
