Introduction aux systèmes d’exploitation 1
Semestre 1

This course is designed for L1-ING with no technical experience, providing a solid foundation of Unix basics. Learners will gain hands-on practice on an Debian system that can be easily transferred to other Unix-based operating systems. The modules in this course cover what characterizes Unix-based operating systems, navigating, searching, and editing files and directories using the command line.

Algorithmique et structure de données 1
Semestre 1

This course is all about learning how to design and build software using static data structures. Students will dive into the basics of algorithmic thinking, exploring how algorithms are structured, what basic actions and control structures are, and why modularity matters. They will also learn how to take these concepts and translate them into well-structured algorithms and C programs.

By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of algorithms and static data structures, and more importantly, they will be able to write code that is efficient, modular, and easy to maintain. These are skills that will set them up for success no matter where their programming journey takes them.

To keep in mind: Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux, once said, "Bad programmers worry about the code. Good programmers worry about data structures and their relationships."
